Niftas Tablet SR may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney

Niftas Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Niftas Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Niftas Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease, who are unable to pass urine or have high creatinine levels.

Yes, Niftas Tablet SR is a strong antibiotic (or broad spectrum antibiotic), which means that it is effective against a wide variety of urinary bacteria. It is important that Niftas Tablet SR should be given to treat or prevent infections that are proven to be caused by susceptible bacteria. This is usually evaluated by a culture test which demonstrates a range of bacteria which cannot grow in the prence of an antibiotic. Niftas Tablet SR has seen to be effective against UTI caused by Escherichia coli, Enteroccus faecalis, Klebsiella species, Enterobacter species, Staphylococcus species: (eg S. aureus, S. saprophyticus, S. epidermidis). Some strains of Enterobacter and Klebsiella are resistant to Niftas Tablet SR.
