Myosone Plus Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasm. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms.

Myosone Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Myosone Plus Tablet1 and Myosone Plus Tablet2.

In Pain due to muscle spasm

Myosone Plus Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Myosone Plus Tablet also helps reduce fever associated with muscle spasm. Take it as prescribed. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

What if you forget to take Myosone Plus Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Myosone Plus Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

What can I do along with taking Myosone Plus Tablet to reduce muscle pain?

If you are suffering from muscle pain due to muscle injury or overuse, you should take rest. Taking rest will help you avoid any further injury and recover efficiently. Make sure that you take plenty of sleep and try to reduce stress. Applying ice pack to the affected area may help in relieving pain and inflammation. If your muscle pain is due to some other disease, follow the advice of your doctor.

Can I get addicted to Myosone Plus Tablet?

There are no known reports of any patient getting addicted to Myosone Plus Tablet.

Can I stop taking Myosone Plus Tablet when my pain is relieved?

Myosone Plus Tablet is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when your pain is relieved. However, Myosone Plus Tablet should be continued if you are advised by your doctor to do so.

Can the use of Myosone Plus Tablet cause damage to liver?

Myosone Plus Tablet contains paracetamol. This medicine is known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage. These symptoms may include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes and abnormal liver enzymes.

How long will Myosone Plus Tablet take to act?

It may take about an hour to see the initial benefit of pain relief after taking Myosone Plus Tablet.

Will a higher than the recommended dosage of Myosone Plus Tablet be more effective?

No, taking a higher than the recommended dose may not be more effective, rather it may increase the chances of having some serious side effects and toxicity. If you experience increased severity of your symptoms, that are not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.

Are there any special instructions the regarding storage and disposal of Myosone Plus Tablet?

Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
