Mudot Injection is an antidote medicine that prevents serious side effects if a person has taken more than the normal or recommended amount of a medicine called paracetamol which leads to an overdose. Initially, there may be mild gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, irritability, etc. But, if left untreated, paracetamol overdose may cause serious liver damage, which may even lead to liver failure. Rarely, an excessive overdose may lead to a coma. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get the most benefit from this medication.

Mudot Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Yes, Mudot Injection is good for the liver. It improves liver function and activity in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. It also prevents liver from toxic agents which can damage the liver. Additionally, it also prevents liver from damage in cases of drug overdose like paracetamol, etc.
Does Mudot Injection affect blood pressure?
Yes, Mudot Injection by acting through various mechanism prevents the rise of blood pressure and maintains the normal functioning of the body. There are reports which show that Mudot Injection can prevent damage to the inner lining of the blood vessels of the body, which will maintain the elasticity and vitality of the blood vessels. Does Mudot Injection need to be refrigerated?
Unopened vials of Mudot Injection should be stored at room temperature. Once the medicine is opened and diluted it should be used within 3 hours as per the directions of the physician. It should not be stored above 25ºC. Once opened, the vials should be stored in refrigeration and if unused then should be discarded after 96 hours.
