Introduction of Mucolite LS Syrup

Mucolite LS Syrup is used in the treatment of cough with mucus. It thins mucus in the nose, windpipe and lungs, making it easier to cough out. It also provides relief from runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes.

Mucolite LS Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Mucolite LS Syrup1, Mucolite LS Syrup2, and Mucolite LS Syrup3.

In Cough with mucus

Mucolite LS Syrup gives relief from cough with mucus. It helps to loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. It also relaxes the muscles of the airways and widens it. This makes breathing easy and reduces the frequency of coughing. Mucolite LS Syrup will also relieve allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. Along with medications, drink enough luke warm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

How to use Mucolite LS Syrup

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Mucolite LS Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

  • It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know howΒ it affects you.
  • If you are diabetic, monitor your blood glucose regularly while taking this medicine.
  • Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease.
  • Stop taking Mucolite LS Syrup and inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache.

My daughter is having a cough for the last three days. From the day 1, i started giving ephedrex syrup two times a day and yesterday onwards i gave mucolite at night with 3ml quantity. But she is still having cough, although the severity is decreased. What medicine should i give her?

Different cause needs different treatment. Specific treatment cannot be given unless we establish exact underlying cause. Final and perfect diagnosis cannot be done without doing clinical examination of child. Please consult me or any other Paediatrician. will take detail history and will examine your child in detail. At time may ask you relevant investigations if necessary. All information will be used to determine exact underlying cause of problem. Depending upon cause will prescribe you treatment. Your child may need antibiotics and/or other prescription drugs. It is mandatory for the customer to have a prescription for the prescription medicines he/she is procuring. Valid prescription cannot be given without diagnosis.
