Moxikind TZ Tablet is a combination medicine that is prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the microorganisms to prevent their growth.

Moxikind TZ Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Moxikind TZ Tablet1 and Moxikind TZ Tablet2.

In Bacterial infections

Moxikind TZ Tablet stops the growth of infectious bacteria and helps treat infections caused by bacteria. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant. Drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Side effects of Moxikind TZ Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Safety advice

Alcohol
UNSAFE
Consuming alcohol while taking Moxikind TZ Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Pregnancy
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Moxikind TZ Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Breast feeding
CAUTION
Moxikind TZ Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
If a single dose of Moxikind TZ Tablet is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.
Driving
UNSAFE
Moxikind TZ Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Moxikind TZ Tablet may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney
CAUTION
Moxikind TZ Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Moxikind TZ Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Moxikind TZ Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Moxikind TZ Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Quick tips

Moxikind TZ Tablet

  • Moxikind TZ Tablet must be taken with food at the same time every day.
  • Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
  • Discontinue Moxikind TZ Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
  • Do not drink alcohol during or for 2-3 days after treatment with this medicine. You may develop nausea, vomiting, flushing and headache.
  • Inform your doctor if you have liver disease. Your dose may need to be adjusted in severe liver disease.
