Controlled blood pressure reduces the risk of having a heart attack, stroke, or kidney problems. The medicine must be taken regularly as prescribed to be effective. You do not usually feel immediate benefit from taking this medicine, however, it helps you maintain your blood pressure in the long term.

In Prevention of heart attack and stroke

Misry 1.25mg Tablet lowers your blood pressure. As a result, it reduces the chance of damage to the small blood vessels in your heart and kidneys. This reduces the risk of getting a heart attack and kidney problems. It also helps in slowing down the rate at which they get worse if you already have problems.

In Treatment of Heart failure

What if you forget to take Misry Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Misry 1.25mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Misry 1.25mg Tablet may increase potassium levels in the blood, especially if you have uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, kidney problems, and dehydration. Potassium levels may also increase in patients using potassium salts or medicines which increase potassium levels or are aged more than 70 years of age. If you have any of these conditions and are using Misry 1.25mg Tablet, you need to be careful and get regular blood tests done to monitor potassium levels.

Q. When can I expect my blood pressure to be normal after starting Misry 1.25mg Tablet?

Misry 1.25mg Tablet takes a few hours to reduce high blood pressure but since there are no symptoms, you will not notice any difference. Even if you stop taking Misry 1.25mg Tablet, the cough may take a few days to a month to go away.

Q. I accidentally took a 25 mg Misry 1.25mg Tablet tablet instead of one 5 mg. Will it have any harmful effects?

Yes, you may feel lightheaded, dizzy, your pulse may become slow and you may even faint. You should take the help of a relative or friend for an emergency or seek immediate medical support.

Q. Will there be any problem if I am taking Misry 1.25mg Tablet and I have surgery scheduled in a week?
