Product introduction

Minocort Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used in the treatment of Addison's disease (inadequate production of natural steroid hormones by the adrenal glands) and congenital adrenal hyperplasia (a genetic condition that affects the adrenal glands).

Minocort Tablet occur naturally in the body, and help to maintain health and well-being and to treat various diseases involving swelling. Minocort Tablet is used to replace the chemicals that are normally produced by organs attached to the kidneys.

Benefits of Minocort Tablet

In Addison's disease

Addison's disease, also called adrenal insufficiency, is an uncommon disorder that occurs when your body doesn't produce enough of some very essential hormones required for various body functions. If your body isn't producing enough of such hormones, Minocort Tablet helps to replace the shortage. This may help your body to perform necessary functions, such as retaining enough salt to function well. Take it as prescribed by the doctor to get the most benefit.

In Congenital adrenal hyperplasia

Congenital adrenal hyperplasia refers to the group of genetic disorders that adversely affects a child's normal growth and development. Minocort Tablet helps to treat this condition by replacing the hormone cortisol, which is decreased considerably in this condition. This helps the body to perform vital functions and improves the quality of life.

How to use Minocort Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Minocort Tablet is to be taken with food.
