It is advised not to give Mexacillin Dry Syrup to children if they have jaundice. The reason being, Mexacillin Dry Syrup contains an active ingredient called cloxacillin which can aggravate the symptoms of jaundice in your child.

No, it is not advised to give Mexacillin Dry Syrup if your child is suffering from infectious mononucleosis or even leukemia as Mexacillin Dry Syrup can lead to the development of skin rashes.
