Hello, I work in a very sweaty environment, I recently had a ringworm outbreak, I used EBERNET and it worked perfectly fine for me, On the recommendation of a few friends who suggested to use anti-fungal soap for a few days to ensure that the spores are completely eliminated from my body. Are there any effective anti-fungal soaps or shampoos that I can use to treat ringworm infection? Is there a method to determine if my scalp is affected by ringworm's? If I do happen to have this, What should be my next set of actions to treat ringworm's on scalp, before visiting a hospital/clinic? Regards, PATIENT

FAQs

Q. For how long do I need to continue applying Maxizol Cream? Can I stop if the symptoms have completely disappeared?

The duration of the treatment depends on the type of infection. In general, the treatment is continued for 1 month for tinea infection and at least 15 days for candida infection. Do not stop the treatment on your own even if you feel better because the infection may come back as it takes some time to kill the fungus completely.

Q. What precautions are necessary while applying Maxizol Cream?

Always thoroughly wash your hands before and after applying Maxizol Cream. If the feet are infected, they should be washed and dried thoroughly, especially between the toes, before applying Maxizol Cream. It should be applied to form a thin and uniform layer onto the affected areas daily and should be rubbed in gently.

Q. Is Maxizol Cream safe to use in children?

Maxizol Cream is safe for use in children provided it is used in the recommended doses for the recommended period of time. Minor side effects may occur but usually they do not become bothersome. However, if you develop a burning sensation or areas of severe redness, itching, then stop the medicine and contact your doctor.

Q. What measures should be taken for a fast recovery?

Keep the affected skin areas clean and dry and avoid excessive rubbing. The itchiness may give you an urge to scratch but avoid scratching as it will damage the surface of skin, spreading the infection further. Do not share towels, bath mats, etc. with other people as you could spread the infection to them.

Q. Does Maxizol Cream have any side effects?

Yes, Maxizol Cream can cause side effects but not everyone gets affected by them. You may suffer from mild and transient rash or burning sensations that generally disappear rapidly.

Q. How to store Maxizol Cream?

Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of the reach of children. The medication should be stored at room temperature (20°C to 25°C) and away from light, excess heat, and moisture (not in the bathroom).

Q. Can I stop using Maxizol Cream when I feel better?

No, do not stop using Maxizol Cream without consulting your doctor even if you are feeling better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured. Therefore, for better and complete treatment, it is advised to continue your treatment for the prescribed duration.
