Malarce Tablet is a combination medicine that is prescribed to treat malaria. It fights against the infection by preventing the growth of the parasites inside the body.

Malarce Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Malarce Tablet1 and Malarce Tablet2 which treat malaria.

In Malaria

Malaria is an illness that is spread by a parasite that enters the human body by the bite of infected mosquitoes. Malarce Tablet is used to treat malaria. However, this medicine should not be used to prevent malaria and should be taken only when prescribed by a doctor. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get the most benefit. This medicine makes you feel better within a few days of treatment. But, if you have a fever, chills, muscle pain, or headache soon after you finish your treatment, this could be a sign that you still are infected with malaria. Consult your doctor immediately if you notice any such symptoms.
Refrain from taking any other medicines or antacids along with this medicine (unless advised by the doctor) as they may affect the absorption of this medicine. Do not use this medicine for treating any other condition without consulting your doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Breast feeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Malarce Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
There may be a possibility of skin rash in the baby
Driving
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
It is not known whether Malarce Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney
CAUTION
Malarce Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Malarce Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if I don't get better after using Malarce Tablet?

Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.

Can I stop taking Malarce Tablet when I feel better?

No, do not stop taking Malarce Tablet and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.

What if I miss my dose?

Take Malarce Tablet as soon as you remember it. However, do not take it if it's almost time for your next dose. Also, do not take an extra dose to make up for your missed dose.
