Lupila-D Capsule is a prescription medicine. It treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease. It also manages nausea, vomiting, and indigestion. It reduces excess stomach acid production and prevents the reflux of stomach acid into the food pipe.
Lupila-D Capsule is a combination of dopamine receptor antagonist and proton pump inhibitor.

You may be given other medicines along with this medicine depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.

CAUTION
Lupila-D Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lupila-D Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Lupila-D Capsule is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.

What if you forget to take Lupila-D Capsule?
If you miss a dose of Lupila-D Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

- You have been prescribed Lupila-D Capsule for the treatment of acidity and heartburn.
- Take it one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning.
- It is a well-tolerated medicine and provides relief for a long time.
- Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever or stomach pain that does not go away.
- Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention.
- Long-term use can cause weak bones and deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor.
