Introduction of Loxof OZ Tablet

Loxof OZ Tablet is a combination medicine that is used to treat diarrhea and dysentery. It prevents the growth of microorganisms to treat the infection. It also relieves the painful symptoms of the infection.

Loxof OZ Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Loxof OZ Tablet1 and Loxof OZ Tablet2.

In Diarrhea

Diarrhea is an increase in the frequency of bowel movements or loose watery bowel movements. It can most commonly occur due to an infection of the digestive tract. Loxof OZ Tablet helps to treat diarrhea that is caused due to bacteria or parasitic worm infections. This medicine can relieve frequent loose motions and also help you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

In Dysentery

Dysentery or amoebic dysentery is a parasitic infection of the intestines that occurs mostly due to intake of contaminated food or water. The symptoms include loose stools (diarrhea), stomach cramps and stomach pain. Loxof OZ Tablet helps to treat this infection by killing the infection causing parasites. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

What if you forget to take Loxof OZ Tablet?

  • Your doctor has prescribed this combination medicine for the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery.
  • Diarrhea can cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids to help rehydrate you.

  • Do not use Loxof OZ Tablet if you have blood in your stool or if you are severely constipated.
  • It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Loxof OZ Tablet as it may irritate your stomach and also cause excessive drowsiness.
  • Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations.
  • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

Take Loxof OZ Tablet as soon as you remember it. However, do not take it if it's almost time for your next dose. Also, do not take an extra dose to make up for your missed dose.
