Lafaxid-D Tablet is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease by relieving the symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. It also neutralizes the acid production in the stomach to prevent discomfort.
Lafaxid-D Tablet is a combination of dopamine receptor antagonist and H2 receptor blocker medicines.

Lafaxid-D Tablet reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. You may be given other medicines along with this medicine depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.

What if you forget to take Lafaxid-D Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Lafaxid-D Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
