Ketanov Injection is used for the short term treatment of moderate to severe pain. It effectively alleviates pain, inflammation and fever. It should not be used for mild or long-term painful conditions. It is given in cases where oral administration is not possible.

It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
