Kazloid 600mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is used to treat infections of the lungs (pneumonia), skin, and soft tissues.

Kazloid 600mg Tablet works by killing bacteria which can cause serious infections. It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections such as infections of lungs (pneumonia), skin, and soft tissues. This medicine usually makes you feel better very quickly but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Side effects of Kazloid Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Kazloid Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Kazloid 600mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Kazloid 600mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Kazloid 600mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Kazloid 600mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Kazloid 600mg Tablet is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Kazloid 600mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Kazloid 600mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on the use of Kazloid 600mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

What if you forget to take Kazloid Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Kazloid 600mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Yes, the use of Kazloid 600mg Tablet can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and causes diarrhea. If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, talk to your doctor about it.

Q. What foods should I avoid while taking Kazloid 600mg Tablet?

You should avoid taking large quantities of food that contain high tyramine in it. Foods that are fermented, cured, aged or spoiled contain high amount of tyramine e.g cheese, red wine, pickle, over ripe fruits etc. Consuming tyramine while taking Kazloid 600mg Tablet can result in elevation of blood pressure, which may result in an emergency situation.
