Imipres-C 10 Tablet is used in the treatment of depression. It is a combination medicine which works by increasing the level of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating mood. It also calms the brain by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells.

In Depression
Imipres-C 10 Tablet works by affecting the balance of certain chemicals (such as serotonin) in the brain. It helps improve mood and feelings of wellbeing, relieve anxiety and tension, helps you sleep better, and increase your energy level. It is an effective antidepressant but may cause drowsiness. You need to take it regularly as it is prescribed for it to be most effective and should not stop taking it suddenly.

What if you forget to take Imipres-C Tablet?

Imipres-C Tablet
- Imipres-C 10 Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of depression.
- It can take a week or two after starting this treatment before the effect begins to build up, and 4-6 weeks before you feel the full benefit. Do not stop taking it after a week or two, feeling it is not helping.
- If you develop any depressing or suicidal thoughts or ideas, you should let your doctor know about them as soon as possible.
- If you have diabetes, you will be asked to monitor your blood glucose level regularly as Imipres-C 10 Tablet may affect the levels of sugar in your blood.
- Avoid exposure to sunlight or tanning beds. Imipres-C 10 Tablet can make you sunburn more easily. Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) when you are outdoors.
- Inform your doctor if you are taking any other antidepressants.
- Try to keep your regular appointments with your doctor. This is so your doctor can check on your progress.
