Holoxan 100mg/2gm Injection is a prescription medicine which is a combination of two medicines that are used in cancer treatment. It prevents the growth and multiplication of cancer cells, thus helps in destroying the tumor.

In Cancer
Holoxan 100mg/2gm Injection is a combination of two medicines Ifomaside and Mesna. It is used to treat various cancers such as testicular cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, cancer of the ovaries (cancer that begins in the female reproductive organs where eggs are formed), cancer of the cervix, and cancer that forms in muscles and bones. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. Mesna present in Holoxan 100mg/2gm Injection reduces the risk of inflammation and bleeding of the bladder which is a very serious side effect of treatment with Ifosfamide. Drink at least 1-2 litres of water every 24 hours during the treatment process to stay hydrated.

Holoxan Injection
- Holoxan 100mg/2gm Injection is used for the treatment of various types of cancer.
- Before taking Holoxan 100mg/2gm Injection, make sure you tell your doctor about any other medications you are taking (including prescription, over-the-counter, vitamins, herbal remedies, etc.).
- After starting your treatment with this medicine, you may be at risk of infection so try to avoid crowds or people with colds, and report fever or any other signs of infection immediately to your doctor.
- Drink at least two to three quarts of fluid every 24 hours, unless you are instructed otherwise.
- To reduce nausea, take anti-nausea medications as prescribed by your doctor, and eat small, frequent meals.
