It works by producing antibodies against foreign substances thereby fighting against infection. It is also used to increase the blood count (platelets) in persons with a certain blood disorder (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura-ITP). This helps stop bleeding and promote the formation of blood clots.

Also, Globucel 1000mg Injection which has sucrose, fructose or maltose as an ingredient in it is more likely to cause kidney damage.
