  • Take your pill at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
  • Do not use Femifast Advance 2mg/0.035mg Tablet if you are obese, over 50, smoke, on prolonged bed rest or have a history of blood clots.

What is Femifast Advance 2mg/0.035mg Tablet?

Femifast Advance 2mg/0.035mg Tablet is a combination of two hormonal medicines: Cyproterone and Ethinyl Estradiol. It treats PCOS symptoms such as acne, excessive hair growth (hirsutism) and irregular periods. Cyproterone works by blocking the overproduction of androgens (male hormones) in the ovaries, thereby reducing unwanted hair growth and acne. Ethinyl Estradiol enhances the effect of Cyproterone by reducing the amount of androgens in the blood circulation.

How and in what dose should I take Femifast Advance 2mg/0.035mg Tablet?

Femifast Advance 2mg/0.035mg Tablet has to be started on day 1 or 2 of your menstrual cycle. Take it as per the duration advised by your doctor. However, it is recommended to take it at the same time of each day. This will ensure consistent levels of medicine in your body.

What if I miss a dose of Femifast Advance 2mg/0.035mg Tablet?

If you miss a dose, you should take it as soon as possible. If the dose was missed by more than 12 hours, you should not take the missed dose and simply continue the usual dosing schedule. However, to prevent pregnancy another non-hormonal birth control (like condoms) method should be used during this cycle. Frequent missing of doses, may also cause unexpected vaginal bleeding or spotting (blood stain). If it lasts long, consult your doctor.

What if I vomit after few hours of taking Femifast Advance 2mg/0.035mg Tablet?

If vomiting occurs within 3-4 hours of taking the tablet, you must repeat the dose.
