Introduction of Esitamat EZ Tablet

Esitamat EZ Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat depression. It is a combination medicine that calms the brain by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells. It also increases the level of chemical messenger in the brain which improves mood.

Esitamat EZ Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Esitamat EZ Tablet1 and Esitamat EZ Tablet2.

In Depression

Esitamat EZ Tablet helps in maintaining the balance of certain chemicals in the brain that affect mood and behavior. This improves your mood, relieves anxiety, tension, helps you sleep better and increases your energy levels. Esitamat EZ Tablet also prevents extreme changes in mood and helps you feel less agitated. You may experience fewer episodes of depression and low mood.
It can take several weeks for this medicine to work and you may still feel low during this time. It is likely that you will take this medicine for at least six months but possibly much longer. It needs to be taken regularly to work effectively. Do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Reactive depression is in response to a situation like loss, sickness, trauma etc. Endogenous depression occurs without any noticeable environmental stressors. Psychological symptoms include lack of interest, negative thinking, irritability, frustration, feeling demotivated etc. Somatic symptoms like fatigue/ weakness/ lack of sleep/ lack of appetite and other physical symptoms are common. Anxiety is common. In severe cases one may feel helpless and hopeless enough to wish for death or attempt suicide. What are the instructions for storage and disposal of Esitamat EZ Tablet?

Are there any important warnings associated with use of Esitamat EZ Tablet?

During the first few months of treatment, Esitamat EZ Tablet may increase suicidal thoughts or actions in some patient, in the first few months of treatment. Can I stop taking Esitamat EZ Tablet when my symptoms are relieved?

No, you should continue to take Esitamat EZ Tablet, even if you feel well. If you stop Esitamat EZ Tablet suddenly, serious withdrawal symptoms may occur. Consult your doctor if the symptoms are relieved, he might decrease your dose gradually.
