Enuff O Dry Syrup reduces the excessive secretion of water and electrolytes and helps replenish the lost fluids and salts. It also helps treat loose stools and prevents abdominal distension or flatulence. Your child needs to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to stay hydrated.

How Enuff O Oral Suspension works
Enuff O Dry Syrup contains two medicines: Racecadotril and ofloxacin. Racecadotril is an enkephalinase inhibitor that has anti-secretory effects. This means that this medicine reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. As a result, the amount of fluid lost from the body in diarrhea reduces. On the other hand, Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and causing infection.

- Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Enuff O Dry Syrup as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.

Q. What if I give too much Enuff O Dry Syrup by mistake?
Though an extra dose of Enuff O Dry Syrup is unlikely to harm, you must immediately speak to the doctor Overdose may cause unwanted side effects such as seizures, tremors, severe headache, sudden weakness, unconsciousness, and palpitations (irregularities of heartbeat). So, if you think you have given too much to your child, rush to your child’s doctor on an immediate basis.
Q. My child has milk intolerance. Can I give Enuff O Dry Syrup to my child?
It is not advised to give Enuff O Dry Syrup to children who are intolerant to dairy products/milk as Enuff O Dry Syrup contains lactose.

Q. Can I get my child vaccinated while on treatment with Enuff O Dry Syrup ?
Antibiotics usually do not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause a bad reaction in a child who has just been vaccinated. However, children taking antibiotics should not get vaccinated until they recover from the illness. As soon as your child feels better, the vaccine can be given.
Q. My child is suffering from long-term (chronic) diarrhea. Can I give Enuff O Dry Syrup?
The use of Enuff O Dry Syrup in chronic diarrhea has not been sufficiently studied. Therefore, it is best to consult your child’s doctor before giving any medicine to your child.
