Droniva Kit is a combination of three medicines. It is prescribed for treatment of osteoporosis. It prevents bone loss and makes the bone stronger. This way it reduces the risk of bone fractures.

In Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a common condition that causes bones to become fragile and brittle so that they break (fracture) more easily. Fractures may be painful and restrict a person’s ability to carry out their normal daily tasks. Droniva Kit reduces the risk of a fracture occurring in osteoporosis. Calcium, vitamin D3 and zinc helps in the growth and development of bones as well as maintain strong bones. Since osteoporosis doesn’t usually have any symptoms such as pain (until a fracture occurs) you might not ‘feel’ any immediate benefit from your treatment with Droniva Kit. Keep taking it untill your doctor asks you to stop. Along with medicines, eat a balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D like dairy products, green leafy vegetables etc.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

What if you forget to take Droniva Tablet Combikit?
If you miss a dose of Droniva Kit, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

- Drink plenty of water while taking it.
- For at least 30 minutes after taking Droniva Kit:
- Do not lie down or recline.
- Do not take any other medicine including vitamins, calcium, antacids, or laxatives.
- Do not eat or drink anything (other than water).
- Along with taking Droniva Kit, maintain a healthy lifestyle, take a balanced diet, exercise (regular weight-bearing exercise) with your doctor's advice, and take proper measures to reduce the risk of falls.
- Let your doctor know if you’re taking an iron supplement, as the absorption rate might be affected.
- Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, or if you have ever had kidney stones.
