Anxiety is the result of a hyperarousal state of nervous system due to a low threshold for threat perception. In simpler words, it's an ongoing flight or fight response. Both medications act on same principle. I would suggest to take only one. Discuss with your psychiatrist for same. Both medication can cause nightmare and sleep disturbances.
