Dacoplice 45mg Tablet is used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer. It works by stopping or slowing down the growth of cancer cells.
Dacoplice 45mg Tablet should be taken with or without food, but try to have it at the same time every day to get the most benefits. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. Take it exactly as advised by the doctor, as taking it in the wrong way or more than the recommended dose can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months to see or feel the benefits of this drug but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.
Diarrhea, rash, stomatitis, nail inflammation, decreased appetite, dry skin, decreased weight, alopecia (hair loss), cough, and pruritus are some common side effects of this medicine. Some serious side effects that might occur which need doctor consultation include tiredness, itchy skin, yellowing of your skin, chest pain or discomfort, and changes in your heartbeat. The doctor may perform some blood tests before and after the treatment to check for liver or blood sugar levels.
Before taking it, tell the doctor if you are taking other medicines. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine; therefore, let your healthcare team know about all the medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Effective contraception by both males and females is important during the treatment to avoid pregnancy.

Quick tips
- Before taking Dacoplice 45mg Tablet, make sure you tell your doctor about any other medications that you are taking (including prescription, over-the-counter, vitamins, herbal remedies, etc.).
- After starting your treatment with Dacoplice 45mg Tablet you may be at risk of infection, so try to avoid crowds or people with colds. Report fever or any other signs of infection immediately to your doctor.
- Drink at least two to three quarts of fluid every day, unless you are instructed otherwise.
- To reduce nausea, take antinausea medications as prescribed by your doctor, and eat small, frequent meals.
- To help treat/prevent mouth sores, use a soft toothbrush and rinse your mouth at least 3 times a day with saline water.
