Introduction of Cuff-Drex Syrup

Cuff-Drex Syrup is a medicine used to treat dry cough. It works by suppressing the cough reflex in the brain. It also thins the mucus and makes it easier to cough out. Additionally, it relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, and throat irritation.


Cuff-Drex Syrup is a combination of cough suppressant, expectorant, sympathomimetic-alpha 1, H1 antihistaminic medicines.

Along with taking Cuff-Drex Syrup, gargling with warm salt water and having ginger or honey can help you manage dry cough.

Kidney

Cuff-Drex Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cuff-Drex Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Cuff-Drex Syrup may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
UNSAFE
Cuff-Drex Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
