This restores the normal sodium levels in our body and prevents further complications such as memory loss.

- CONVIZIN 20 MG INJECTION is usually only given in a hospital to treat low sodium levels in the blood.
- It also improves urine flow without causing the body to lose too much sodium as you urinate.
- It is given by an injection or drip into a vein (intravenously).
- To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
- To avoid dehydration, it is best to drink something as soon as you feel thirsty.
- You may need to wait at least 1 week after your last dose of CONVIZIN 20 MG INJECTION before you can begin taking certain any other medicines.
- Your doctor may check your liver function before starting treatment and regularly thereafter. Inform your doctor if you notice yellowing of eyes or skin, dark urine, or stomach pain.
- Inform your doctor if you notice problems with your speech or muscle control, trouble swallowing, trouble moving your arms and legs, or mood changes.

Who should not be given CONVIZIN 20 MG INJECTION?
This medicine should not be given if you are allergic to corn products, or if you are having difficulties in urinating.
When should I consult my doctor?
Seek immediate medical help if you have a light-headed feeling like you might pass out, uneven heart rate, extreme thirst, increased urination, trouble speaking, trouble swallowing, muscle spasm or weakness in your arms and legs, and seizure.
Does CONVIZIN 20 MG INJECTION cause low blood pressure?
Yes, this medicine may cause your blood pressure to fall (particularly in the early days of your treatment). Avoid getting up too fast from a sitting or lying position, or you may feel dizzy. Get up slowly and steady yourself to prevent a fall.
Will CONVIZIN 20 MG INJECTION affect my fertility?
This medicine may affect fertility (ability to have children) in women. Consult your doctor who can advice you more on this.
