- You have been prescribed Colibest Tablet to get relief from abdominal pain.
- Colibest Tablet should be taken with, or straight after, a meal or snack. This helps to reduce the risk of stomach upset.
- Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea).
- Drink plenty of water while taking Colibest Tablet in case you experience diarrhea as its side-effect.

Q. Can I stop taking Colibest Tablet when my pain is relieved?
Colibest Tablet is usually used for short term and can be discontinued if there is no pain. However, it should be continued if your doctor told you to do so.
Q. Can the use of Colibest Tablet cause damage to the liver?
Colibest Tablet contains nimesulide. This medicine is known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage. The symptoms may include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, and abnormal liver enzymes.
Q. Can I take a higher than the recommended dose of Colibest Tablet?
No, taking a higher than the recommended dose of Colibest Tablet can lead to increased chances of side effects. If you experience increased severity of your symptoms, that are not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
