Coldifen Tablet is a combination of medicines that effectively relieves symptoms of common cold such as blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. It also blocks the activity of certain chemicals that causes pain and fever. An antacid present in Coldifen Tablet prevents acidity that may occur due to this medicine. This medicine is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. How Coldifen Tablet works
Coldifen Tablet is a combination of three medicines:Fexofenadine, phenylephrine, paracetamol and ambroxol which relieve common cold symptoms. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

What if you forget to take Coldifen Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Coldifen Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

- Coldifen Tablet is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold.
- Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
- Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
- It may cause nausea. Stick to simple meals, and do not eat rich or spicy food.
- Avoid using antacids 30 minutes before or after taking this medicine. It can make it harder for your body to absorb this medicine.
- Along with taking Coldifen Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
- Steam inhalation.
- Gargling with warm saltwater.
