Checkspas Tablet is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (symptoms include abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, and diarrhea or constipation). It prevents the sudden spasm of muscles to relieve stomach pain and cramps. It also promotes easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort.
Checkspas Tablet is a combination of two anticholinergic- antispasmodics and benzodiazepines.

This can lead to bleeding, frequent diarrhea, bloating, flatulence, cramps and stomach pain. Checkspas Tablet relaxes the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine) and relieves these symptoms effectively. Usually, it is used along with other medicines for management of your condition.

Q. Is it safe to use Checkspas Tablet?
Checkspas Tablet is safe for most of the patients when taken as per the doctor's advice. However, in some patients it may cause common side effects like nausea, constipation, nervousness, dryness in the mouth, difficulty in urination, confusion, sleepiness, weakness, dizziness, blurred vision, impaired coordination and other uncommon or rare side effects. Yes, the use of Checkspas Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without speaking to your doctor.
Q. Can the use of Checkspas Tablet cause dryness in mouth?
Yes, the use of Checkspas Tablet can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth, drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night. You may use lip balm if your lips are also dry.
Q. Can the use of Checkspas Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, the use of Checkspas Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for sometime and resume once you feel better.
