C Taz Injection is a combination medicine. It is prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection.

C Taz Injection is a combination of two medicines: C Taz Injection1 and C Taz Injection2.

In Bacterial infections

C Taz Injection helps treat infections that are caused by bacteria. It contains two medicines, Ceftriaxone, and Tazobactum. Ceftriaxone stops the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Tazobactum enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against the bacteria as well as reduces resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotic. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all the infectious bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Side effects of C Taz Injection

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Breast feeding
CAUTION
C Taz Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Driving
UNSAFE
C Taz Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
There is limited information available on the use of C Taz Injection in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
C Taz Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of C Taz Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Dose adjustment of C Taz Injection is not recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

  • Finish the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
