In Treatment of Bacterial infections
Brifix-CV Tablet helps treat infections that are caused by bacteria. It contains two medicines, Cefixime, and Clavulanic acid. Cefixime stops the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Clavulanic Acid enhances the activity of Cefixime against the bacteria as well as reduces resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotic. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all the infectious bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
