Brevipil Injection is an anti-epileptic medicine used to treat seizures in epilepsy. It can be used by itself to treat adults or along with other medicines to treat adults and children. It helps to prevent seizures for as long as you continue to take it.

No, do not crush Brevipil Injection. It is recommended that you swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. You can take Brevipil Injection with or without food, preferably at the same time.

What if I miss a dose of Brevipil Injection?

If you have missed a dose of Brevipil Injection, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.

Can I stop taking Brevipil Injection if I start feeling better?

No, Brevipil Injection should not be stopped even if you start feeling better. Suddenly stopping the medicine may cause continuous seizures which can be difficult to control. You should consult your doctor who will advise you to discontinue Brevipil Injection gradually.
