Boromet Dental Gel is a combination of two medicines used to treat mouth ulcers. It kills and prevents the growth of the microorganisms that cause the ulcer. At the same time, it blocks the pain signals from the brain and reduces pain caused by the ulcer.
Boromet Dental Gel should be used exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Do not use more or for a longer period than the prescribed duration. Read the label thoroughly for instructions before using the medicine. Apply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area with clean and dry hands. Do not rinse your mouth after application and avoid swallowing the medicine. It may take several days for your symptoms to improve, continue applying the medicine regularly.
The medicine may lead to some side effects such as tingling and burning sensation at the application site. These are usually self-limiting. Serious side effects are rare. Consult the doctor if you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.).
