Biospan 10mg Tablet is used to treat peptic ulcers. It reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. You may be given other medicines depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear. It may also be prescribed to prevent ulcers from forming by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach.

Concomitant use of Biospan 10mg Tablet with Imodium (loperamide), Bentyl (dicyclomine) and Percocet (acetaminophen + oxycodone) can cause harmful drug interactions and should be avoided. Please inform your doctor about all medication you are currently taking to avoid any harmful drug interaction
Does Biospan 10mg Tablet cause or stop diarrhea?
Treatment with Biospan 10mg Tablet may be helpful in controlling diarrhea associated with bowel spams; however, it can aggravate constipation. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience diarrhea as a side effect of Biospan 10mg Tablet treatment
