Introduction of Bemisol Syrup

Bemisol Syrup is a combination of two medicines used to treat parasites and worm infestations in the body. It helps to treat the infection by inhibiting the growth of the parasites.

Bemisol Syrup is medicine which helps treat many parasitic worm infections. It kills and stops the further growth of worms causing the infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all parasites are killed and do not become resistant. This medicine is generally safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding, but you should ask your doctor.

Side effects of Bemisol Syrup

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Bemisol Syrup is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE
Bemisol Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Bemisol Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Bemisol Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Bemisol Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Bemisol Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools while taking this medicine.
