Azidone SB 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take the medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Take it at the same time each day to get the maximum benefit from it. Azidone SB 250mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines : Azithromycin, Saccharomyces boulardii, and Lactobacillus Sporogenes. Azithromycin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading. Saccharomyces boulardii and Lactobacillus Sporogenes are probiotics. They work by restoring the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset after antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
