Azidone SB 250mg Tablet is prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections. It kills and stops the spreading of infection-causing bacteria. This way it relieves the symptoms and speeds up the recovery process.

Azidone SB 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take the medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Take it at the same time each day to get the maximum benefit from it. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. A missed dose should be taken as soon as you remember. Do not stop taking the medicine even if you feel better unless you have completed the full course. If you stop too early, the infection may return.

Some side effects of Azidone SB 250mg Tablet medicine include nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant. Drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

How Azidone SB Tablet works

Azidone SB 250mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines : Azithromycin, Saccharomyces boulardii, and Lactobacillus Sporogenes. Azithromycin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading. Saccharomyces boulardii and Lactobacillus Sporogenes are probiotics. They work by restoring the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset after antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
