Product introduction

Aurophenyl 5% Eye Drop is a medicine used to enlarge the pupil of your eye before surgery or examination. It helps to constrict blood vessels in the eye and increases pupil size. Your doctor or eye specialist may use it to examine your eye more closely or as part of a treatment program.

Aurophenyl 5% Eye Drop is usually taken when needed. Use the number of drops as advised by your doctor. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering any other medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Do not use a bottle if the seal is broken before you open it. Always wash your hands and do not touch the end of the dropper.

The most common side effects of using this medicine are eye pain and photophobia. These are usually temporary and go away with time. You should let your doctor know if the side effects do not improve or if they get worse.

Do not use it while wearing soft contact lenses and talk to your doctor if you develop an eye infection while using it. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
