Asflam Tablet is a medicine which helps in relieving muscle pain. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). It also relaxes the muscles and provides relief from stiffness or spasm.

Asflam Tablet treats muscle pain by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. This medicine also contains an active ingredient called Serratiopeptidase, which is an enzyme that promotes the overall healing process and speeds up recovery. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

Use of Asflam Tablet is not advised in patients with severe liver disease. Liver function tests are recommended before the start of treatment and then on a regular basis as advised.

What if you forget to take Asflam Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Asflam Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
