Quick tips
- Alcarex KT Eye Drop is prescribed for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis.
- Alcarex KT Eye Drop should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
- Wash your hands first before applying Alcarex KT Eye Drop. Do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface to avoid contamination,
- After applying Alcarex KT Eye Drop, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
- Avoid wearing contact lenses till your symptoms are completely gone.
- Eye infections can cause your eyes to become more sensitive to sunlight than usual. Wearing sunglasses may help to prevent this.
- Along with using Alcarex KT Eye Drop, give warm compress to your eyes to get relief from itching and burning sensation.
- Take care to avoid spreading the infection from one eye to the other, and to other members of your family. Washing your hands regularly (particularly after touching your eyes) and not sharing towels or pillows will help to prevent the infection from spreading.
