AFM Tablet is a combination medicine used in the prevention of asthma. It relieves allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness. It also helps in relaxing the muscles of the air passages, thus widening it and making it easier to breathe.
AFM Tablet is a combination of three medicines: AFM Tablet1, AFM Tablet2, and AFM Tablet3.

In Asthma
Asthma is a condition in which your airways become narrow and as a result, breathing becomes difficult. AFM Tablet works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and widens it. It also gives relief from congestion or stuffiness by loosening mucus and helping to cough out. This makes you breathe easy and gives relief from symptoms such as tightness in your chest, shortness of breath, wheezing and coughing. Regular exercise and yoga can help improve the symptoms of asthma in the long term, in addition to improving overall health.

- You have been prescribed AFM Tablet for prevention of asthma.
- Take it at the same time each day, preferably in the evening after food.
- Do not take it with any fruit juices (such as apple, orange, or grapefruit) as they might make the drug less effective.
- It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Use your rescue inhaler to control sudden difficulty in breathing.
- Your doctor may take regular blood test to monitor the level of drug in your body.
- Avoid using antacids within 30 minutes of taking this medicine. It can make it harder for your body to absorb this medication.
- Notify your doctor if you smoke or have an viral infection. Your dose may need to be adjusted.
- Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.

Will a higher than the recommended dose of AFM Tablet be more effective?
No, taking a higher than the recommended dose of AFM Tablet will not make it more effective, rather it can lead to increased side effects. If the symptoms are getting worse, please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.
