Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet has two main uses. The most common is to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. It is also used in the treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). It may also be to treat ED in patients with BPH.
Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of mild to moderate inability to get erection of the penis (erectile dysfunction)

Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called PDE5 inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis. This allows blood to flow into the penis and produce an erection when sexually aroused. This medicine will only help get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. It is very effective but needs to be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.
Do not take this medicine if you also take medicines called nitrates (often given for chest pain).

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Adlafel Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Adlafel Tablet works
Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels.

What if you forget to take Adlafel Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

- You have been prescribed Adlafel 2.5mg Tablet for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But, you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
