Vertigo means a spinning sensation or dizziness that is triggered due to frequent movement or in people suffering from Meniere’s disease. It usually happens due to problem in the ear (vestibular). Acuvert Tablet helps treat this sensation effectively. If you feel dizzy while getting up from the bed, sit for a while and then rise slowly to avoid having an accidental fall. It acts on the vestibular system and suppresses the spinning sensation.
In Treatment of Nausea

In Treatment of Migraine
Acuvert Tablet helps treat and prevent migraine headaches. It changes the electrical activity in the brain, blocks chemicals responsible for pain sensation and also blocks signals that cause nausea/vomiting associated with migraines. By preventing and reducing the frequency of migraine headaches, it can help you carry out your daily activities and have a better quality of life.
In Treatment of Short term anxiety
Acuvert Tablet reduces the symptoms of excessive anxiety and worry that are triggered only at the time of stressful conditions that last for a shorter duration. How Acuvert Tablet works
Acuvert Tablet is a vestibular suppressant, i.e., it suppresses the vestibular apparatus in the inner ear by blocking the H1 receptor and stops vertigo. It acts within 30 minutes and, therefore, is effective during acute attacks. It also acts as a dopamine antagonist. Dopamine controls the region in the brain that causes nausea and vomiting, and this medicine blocks the action of dopamine. Therefore, Acuvert Tablet shows an anti-nauseating and antiemetic action. The mechanism of action by which prochlorperazine relieve headache and anxiety is probably related to it being serotonin (5HT3) receptor antagonist and dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist.
