ActHIB Vaccine


Product introduction

ActHIB Vaccine is a combination of vaccines used in the prevention of Tetanus and Haemophilus influenzae type B. It stimulates the immune system to act against microorganisms to prevent such infections.

ActHIB Vaccine is administered by a healthcare professional. It may cause redness, soreness, and swelling at the site of infusion. This usually goes away with time. It can be taken by patients irrespective of age.

ActHIB Vaccine is generally well tolerated by patients and is also safe in children, however, it has a few side effects such as swelling, pain, and fever. Before receiving the vaccine, to make sure it is safe for the child,  let your doctor know if the child has any preexisting medical conditions.
