AC Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with a history of allergic reactions to any penicillin. It is also avoided in patients with a previous history of cholestatic jaundice/liver dysfunction associated with the medicine.

Which is the best time to take AC Tablet?

AC Tablet may be taken every 8 hours or every 12 hours, depending on the dose prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken with a meal or snack to reduce the possibility of getting an upset stomach. Many antibiotics can cause diarrhea. If diarrhea is severe or lasts for more than 2 or 3 days, call your doctor.

Can I stop AC Tablet in between if I feel better?

No, complete the course even if you feel better. It is common to feel better early in the course of therapy. However, skipping doses or not completing the full course of therapy may reduce the effectiveness of the immediate treatment. It might also make the bacteria develop resistance against the treatment.
