Abifix AZ 250mg/250mg Tablet is a fixed-dose combination of two antibiotics and is used to treat patients with bacterial infections. Cefixime is used to treat infections of the ear, lung, throat and urinary tract. Azithromycin is useful in the treatment of ear infections, strep throat, pneumonia, traveler's diarrhea (loose stools and stomach cramps while traveling). Together they can be used to treat infections of the upper respiratory tract (typhoid and pneumonia), urinary tract and sexually transmitted diseases.
