How Ab-Taxomed Injection works
Ab-Taxomed Injection is a combination of two medicines: paclitaxel and albumin. Paclitaxel, an anticancer chemical derived from plants, works by stopping cancer cells from separating into two new cells. This blocks the growth of the cancer. Albumin, a natural protein in blood, works by replacing the blood or body fluids lost due to excessive bleeding, surgery, or kidney dialysis.
