1. Constipation
Constipation is caused due to an aggravated Vata dosha. This can be due to the frequent consumption of junk food, excess intake of coffee or tea, sleeping late at night, stress and depression. All these factors aggravate Vata in the large intestine and cause constipation.
Lady finger helps to lubricate the large intestines and helps in easy expulsion of stool due to its Vata balancing and Rechana (laxative) properties.
Tips:
a. Heat 1-2 teaspoon of Olive oil in a pan.
b. Add and saute 2-3 cups of sliced Lady finger.
c. Add salt and turmeric as per your taste.
d. Cook on a low flame till it becomes soft.
